Golden Buddha
This was in Cambodia, 2012.
There are so many beautiful statues everywhere but none are as gracious as this one. The color, the mimic, the pose, the details, the stones, everything. And I mean, look at how the Buddha sticks out. It really fulfilled its purpose. People stopped and stared for quite a while, just mesmerized by its beauty. So was I.

Never found a four-leaf clover… This made me so sad when I was little, that at one point I decided that two-leaf clovers would give me luck. I ended up ripping all clovers I found and made them into two-leaf clovers.
So here is a three-leaf one. Found it in Vietnam, on our class trip 2013.

I know it's not christmas. But I don't care :)
Christmas 2013, Zurich

Graffiti Day ! Zurich, Switzerland, summer 2013. On the left there is the "Züri-See" !

Also Zurich, summer 2013. Same place as the one on top.

I love these places in cities. It represents the city as it is, not this "polished" tourist version. The culture, the style, the feeling and the "flair" can only be experienced if one just walks through the city, explores the different parts of it. That's what I always like to do, when I'm in a new place, or also when I go back home to  Zurich and simply roam through the streets, taking it all in. That's exactly when I discover places like this one. Places where emotions, views and beliefs are expressed through all kinds of art. Where people come together to celebrate their achievements, to share their grief, to spread their joy.
Those are the places where you can actually experience and enjoy the ambiance of the city.

MY PARADISE !
Greece, a small island called Spezi.
Again: summer 2013

Greece, summer 2013
The warm atmosphere in this picture is so incredible. The funny thing is, that exactly how you might feel looking at this picture (the feeling that you just want to be there) exactly that feeling was the one I had, when I was there. It was so beautiful, that it felt surreal to me. I stood right there but I felt so far away. I guess with this kind of beauty, we will never be able to feel as we are part of it.

It's still Greece, summer 2013. I've been only posting pictures from Greece at the moment, don't worry, I'll post different pictures later.
This is on the mainland in a place near Athens. Again, no Photoshop, just my Olympus and the beautiful evening sky.

Greece, Hydra, summer 2013

This cat just looked at me and I must say… it gave me goosbumps. Or should I say "Catbumps" :) Okay I get it, it was a lame joke….
The expression is so unique. It looks sad, angry, annoyed yet interested. Even though it's just a cat, I have the feeling there is a story behind this animal. I know you probably think "Damn, this blogger is crazy!" but if you just take your time and look at this cat, that eye, you get the feeling, that it's looking right into you. This gives me such a weird feeling. A feeling of being watched, surveilled.

Greece, summer 2013. A beautiful day on the mainland near Athens.

This is a night in Hydra, a very small island in Greece. Probably named after the Greek mythology with the many-headed serpent.
This beautiful sunset was captured in Porto Heli, Greece in summer 2013. No Photoshop used here, all the colors are just naturally this pretty :)

We went out to have dinner at the Aman Resort, which is such a beautiful place to stay. It's like an own little "country". It has so many different things to offer and such a large space to use but, of course, it is preeeettyyyy expensive.
